Non traditional wedding inspiration; Iridescent disco wedding inspo for nontraditional couples

Hold on to your sparkly hats peeps this doozy is an sparkle tastic inspo beaut... basically my heaven.

Our Inspiration came from a sh*t tonne of sequins with pastel rainbow hues by the wonderful Lauren at Victoria + Claire. The shoot evolved to not only to include nontraditional vibes but to also include a super fun bridal party scene with a …bubble machine….. what’s not to love?

Stunning wedding stationery provided by Samantha King Design

Loves me a wee flat lay with bits and bobs from your day... I always recommend bringing along your wedding invitations for me to capture with some of your other details.

Here for this shoot at Sandon Manor, in Hertfordshire, we were able to tie the holographic stationery with patent pink boots and the sequin cape.

I mean c'mon just look at it all (feel like I'll be saying the a lot in this post)

Holly of Carter hair and make up brought the glam; with colours complimenting the palette of the day and a glittery up do.

Sandon Manor was the beautiful backdrop for this nontraditional wedding inspiration.

The manor House offers beautiful accomodation for the wedding party for the whole weekend with the stunning dovecote cottage for the happy couple.

And then THE venue. The barns provide the most fabulous backdrop for your wedding day. I cannot put into words how much I love this venue.

Where to start. Kate Rosmund stunning work (as always!) created this pairing made in heaven a stunning strapless gown with a thigh high slit ( An Angelina moment all by itself IYKYK); made in a beautiful draping fabric and with just a touch of glitter across the bust.... BUT when Kate brings the sparkle... she brings the bloody sparkle. This bridal look was completed with the most beautiful sequin cape that just caught every single light!

I mean c'mon look at it.

Danielle of Cake Crumbs created this vintage cake beaut which is top of the 2024 wedding trends finished with piped pastel hued icing and 'Just Married' text on the top

The textured florals included spray painted elements that brought the dream to life and the colours matched the sequin cape perfectly

This is my new fave trend; another element of telling the story of the couple and their day... details that can be pulled together (much like details in the morning prep time) but brings a slightly different editorial vibe to the later parts of the day/night.
